Anthropocene

The “Anthropocene,” similar to the Jurassic and the Cretaceous era, is a proposed epoch having significantly influenced by human activities causing environmental changes. “Chicken bones,” “Plastic” and “Overpopulation” are the three keywords to examine how humanity has affected the biosphere. Claiming our era as Anthropocene acknowledges how humans hold immense influence upon Earth and is about to push civilization in a grand, geographical scale. The documentary scrutinizes Anthropocene in attempt to collect atmospheric chemistry, geological and biological evidence, through the expertise of Jan Zalasiewicz; the chairman of the Anthropocene Working Group, William Steffen; Emeritus Professor of Australian National University, and Jared Diamond; the author of “Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed.”
