Birds of Paradise

Untouched by modern civilization and located under the searing equatorial sun, Papua New Guinea is home to a diverse ecosystem. And in this ecosystem lives birds which are so spectacular in appearance that they are called birds-of-paradise. In this 3-part documentary, we explore the birds and their intricate courtship dances. Also, we learn about the bower bird and the complicated structures they build in order to seduce mates. Full of amazing creatures which are both intelligent and beautiful, this series gives us new insight into Papua New Guinea's ecosystem and a renewed appreciation for the biodiversity which is being threatened all throughout the world.
